TTK Private Limited Company, a leading player in Ethiopia’s Soap & detergent manufacturing sector, has established a strong presence through its diverse product offerings and commitment to quality. The Company was envisaged and established by 3 founding Ethiopian shareholders in 1997 E.C with a paid up capital of only 1 million birr. Initially the company was engaged in import business and much known with import of different stationery items, glues, computer accessories, spare parts etc... Imported from different countries such as China, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, Austria etc.
Over the years, TTK has expanded its operations to include soap and detergent manufacturing lines, a Shortening producing plant, edible oil processing, and packaging solutions. The company’s journey from a small-scale merchandising firm to a diversified manufacturing & trading business entity is a testament to its unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable growth.

a HIsTory of GrowTH & exPansIon
TTK’s journey into manufacturing began in 2004 E.C. with a single laundry soap production plant and a batch system soap noodles manufacturing unit. The company’s strategic investments and technological advancements have enabled it to significantly increase its production capacity and products range. Today, TTK offers a comprehensive portfolio of laundry soaps and toilet soaps with its more than six finishing Lines. The company also produces detergents, both powder and liquid detergents. Recognizing the importance of diversification, TTK has ventured into related industries. The establishment of a separate plant for shortening, ghee, and margarine production, along with a packaging plant for plastic jerry cans, poly bags, and cans, has strengthened the company’s value chain. This vertical integration has enabled TTK to control key aspects of its operations, reducing costs and ensuring product consistency.
